Late 19th Century, hand-painted plate depicts Baroness von Bernus based on an 1838 painting by Philipp Veit. 

Marked with the baroness' name on back "freifrau v. Bernus" and the Hutschenreuther maker's mark. 

Also marked "Abteilung Dresden Handmalerei". "S" embossed within the porcelain. Raised gilt detailing to border.
