Beautiful Minton cabinet plate dating from the late 19th century with wonderful pate sur pate scene of putti cherub angel playing a flute in a garden with birds watching from branches. Alboin Birks the minton pate sur pate artist did all of the these plates with the putti in garden with a red terracotta color background that I found in researching. Measures 9.5 inches diameter. Minton red globe mark on back and impressed symbol date mark. Also Caldwell Philadelphia retailer mark. Condition is excellent no chips, cracks or repairs.
