CIRCA 1890, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK, INCISED L122, PRESSNUMMER 125, PAINTED 37.

Modeled as a winged figure of Cupid, nude except a grape leaf cod piece and his quiver of bows, kneeling on a blue cloth,

presenting a bleeding heart atop a cobalt blue pillow, his rear atop a tree stump, on a marbleized round socle base with gilt banding. 

Height 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm).
