Antique large Meissen figure of Chronos, mid 19th century

Modelled after J.J. Kaendler, Chronos standing on a flower- and leaf-encrusted rockwork base with a cupid holding a flower to his right, holding a circular watch stand with elaborate gilt-edged and pierced scrollwork on his left arm and a scythe in his right hand, his lavender cloak painted with gilt and purple flowers,
